The Community Foundation serving Howard, Clinton, and Carroll counties has announced that applications for the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship are now open. High school students have until August 31 to apply for consideration.
The prestigious scholarship provides recipients with full tuition for four years at any Indiana public or private college or university, aiming to make higher education more accessible for deserving students.
According to the Community Foundation, the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program has three primary goals: to raise the level of educational attainment in Indiana, to increase awareness of the valuable role community foundations play in their local areas, and to foster connections among current and past scholars, as well as with Indiana’s business, governmental, educational, nonprofit, and civic leaders, to improve quality of life across the state.
