The skies over Clinton County will be buzzing this Saturday, August 23, as the Frankfort/Clinton County Airport hosts its annual Fly-In Community Day from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The free, family-friendly event kicks off with a pancake breakfast from 7:30–10:00 a.m., provided by Jet Access. Guests can enjoy a morning meal while watching vintage planes and warbirds take to the air.
This year, a major highlight will be the Frankfort Market, where local vendors will showcase unique goods, crafts, and homegrown products. Organizers say the market is a chance to support small businesses and artisans while enjoying the day’s festivities.
Other attractions include:
- Cruise-in cars and motorcycles on display
- Helicopter candy drop for kids
- Vintage airplane and warbird rides
- Paper airplane contest
- Food from Slabby’s Food and Freedom
- Sweet treats from Glover’s Ice Cream
- A Food Truck Alley open from 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
Event organizers encourage families to come out and make a day of it. The Frankfort/Clinton County Airport is located at 3009 State Road 28, Frankfort, IN 46041. Admission is free.
