Local artist and author James Ramos has announced that Gem City Shimmer III — the third and final volume in his beloved photo-book series capturing the “everyday Americana” of Frankfort — is now officially in production.
The Gem City Shimmer series has been a three-year creative journey highlighting the people, places, and small-town moments that define life in Frankfort. Ramos confirmed that while his artistic work will continue in other forms, this will be the last installment in the current series.
Only 50 copies of Gem City Shimmer III will be printed, each priced at $20. Ramos is offering several payment options for those interested in securing a copy:
