Buc-ee’s officials have not made any announcements about opening a location in Indiana but there has been speculation as to where it would make sense to expand.
Based on their locations in states like Texas, Georgia, and Kentucky, the company tends to build near major interstates with high traffic volumes and room for large developments.
Possible sites in Indiana could include areas along I-65, such as near Indianapolis or Lafayette, or along I-70 near Terre Haute or Richmond. These regions see commercial and traveler traffic, similar to existing locations in other states.
Other potential areas might include I-69 near Fort Wayne or the I-74 corridor near Shelbyville.
As of now, Buc-ee’s has not confirmed any plans to build in Indiana. However, a recent article in a newspaper in Ohio asked the question of where the potential sites could be.
