Clinton County Offices Prepare for Final Phase of Move

The final phase of Clinton County’s transition to the new County Annex Building is underway, with the Commissioners, Assessor, and Auditor offices set to relocate on Friday, October 24. The move marks one of the last major steps in transferring county government operations from the historic Courthouse to the modern facility.

The Commissioners’ Office will be located at the main entrance of the Annex in Suite 101. It will be closed on Friday, October 24, and is scheduled to reopen for regular business on Monday, October 27.

The Assessor’s Office and Auditor’s Office will move to the second floor of the new building in Suites 201 and 206. Both departments will be closed on Friday, October 24, and Monday, October 27, with services resuming on Tuesday, October 28.

Residents who need assistance during the move may leave a voicemail with the Assessor’s Office. Calls will be returned as soon as phone services are fully operational in the new location.

County officials say a public open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held after all departments complete their relocation, marking the full opening of the new Annex Building.
