The City of Frankfort Water Works Department has begun replacing residential water meters across the community, bringing modern technology to all water ratepayers’ homes.
The new ultrasonic meters replace older manually read devices. Officials say the upgrade provides more accurate readings, reduces the possibility of human error, and allows for real-time data collection. The improved monitoring will also help detect potential safety issues sooner, improving reliability for customers.
