The Frankfort High School boys soccer team kept the Hot Dog Invite trophy right where they wanted it this weekend—at home.
The Hot Dogs came out strong, knocking off Purdue Polytechnic with an 8-2 win in their opening match. They followed it up with a decisive 7-1 victory over Tri-Central to clinch the tournament title. With the pair of wins, Frankfort improved its record to 3-1 on the season.
Several Hot Dogs found the back of the net across both games, giving fans plenty to cheer about. The crowd at Frankfort’s home field was lively, with students, families, and community members filling the stands to support the team.
The Hot Dog Invite has become a staple of the early season, and winning it again only adds momentum to Frankfort’s campaign. With the trophy secured, the team now turns its focus to the rest of the schedule, where they look to build on their strong start.
